ABOUT ABOUT

Bring your friends and family and join us on Friday, July 11th at 7:00 PM at Briarcrest Christian School's Chapel and Performing Arts Center for SAM JAM 2014, a concert benefiting South America Mission's Recife Redemptive Ministries.

General admission tickets are $25. You can purchase tickets today online, or you can purchase tickets at the door.

The SAM JAM 2014 concert will feature the following artists:

- RIVERS RUTHERFORD, an award winning double Grammy nominee singer-songwriter who has penned eight Billboard #1 songs such as “Real Good Man” Tim McGraw, “Ain’t Nothing Bout You” Brooks and Dunn, “When I Get Where I’m Going” Brad Paisley-Dolly Parton, “Living In Fast Forward” Kenny Chesney and countless hits for megastars Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Trace Adkins, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Reba McEntire… to name a few. Rivers is known for his gritty, southern style, and he's unapologetic about his love for God, devotion to his family and making great music.

- JOSH THRELKELD of Memphis has an “acoustic soul” style and each of his songs tell a story and invokes a heartfelt tenderness.

- AUSTIN CARROLL, a former songwriter with Arthouse Entertainment in Los Angeles and current proprietor of Austin Carroll Vocal Arts in Memphis

- The SAM JAM 2014 Praise Band, which includes CRAIG DELILLE, who serves as a missionary in Recife, Brazil, and FRAN MOONEY, who serves as the worship leader at Woodland Presbyterian Church in Memphis

Craig and Mary DeLille, and their two daughters, Gennifer and Shelby, have been in ministry in Recife, Brazil for the past 10 years, joining South America Mission (SAM) in 2008. Craig currently serves as the SAM-Brazil Field Director, overseeing the Recife Redemptive Ministries, which SAM JAM 2014 will benefit. The DeLille's ministry efforts in Recife, where they reside, are holistic in nature, meeting physical, emotional and educational needs as well as spiritual needs in partnership with the local church. With a focus on the alleviation of human suffering, the DeLilles have built homes, provided food, tutored children, taught adult literacy and provided counseling to young couples. They also operate a sports ministry and just recently opened a music school. These demonstrations of God’s love are acts of common grace that point to the special, redemptive grace that God offers to those who believe and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. They are currently in the U.S. on home ministry assignment until August 2014.

After the concert, there will be a meet and greet dessert reception, featuring sweet treats from Frost Bake Shop in the foyer until 10:30 PM, where you can meet the DeLilles and purchase a SAM JAM 2014 concert T-shirt.
